This is my program document with approx. square footages. The document is focusing on the "Core" components, which are separate buildings from the learning environments, and the 5-6 grade satellite learning environments. I have started and will continue to look at the K-2 and 3-4 grade level satellite structures.
This is a schedule I have been working to better understand how the students might use the spaces and at what times and what days.
The top diagram is great, and I'd love to see the next line down contain bubbles that list architectural or spatial words describing the different kinds of ways in which you make a space that is "exposed" "creative" or "focused"
ReplyDeleteThe second diagram is intriuging with the two focus areas at the end of tails - this makes a yin-yang form which I question how such pure geometry relates to/responds to the site. Also, while the core is understandably separate, is it not also a place for learning? What types of spaces might it relate to, or perhaps to avoid it looking out of place, do not show it on this, a primary program diagram
